"Our 2008 Adventure Craft boat, engine, and trailer are in excellent condition. I have just recently finished detailing the fiberglass exterior with compounding, polishing, and waxing. The interior has been carefully cleaned. The exterior storage compartments have been cleaned thoroughly. The aluminum trailer was carefully cleaned with the appropriate aluminum cleaner. The engine and generator have been serviced and tested. She is ready for the new owner to enjoy!"

2008 ADVENTURE CRAFT BOAT AND TRAILER FOR SALE

Our wonderful 2008 Adventure Craft Trailerable Boat is for sale. The boat and trailer are well equipped with many accessories. We wanted to travel to distant Great Loop ports with a trailerable boat by land then enjoy water destinations in a boat. We have enjoyed the view from the flybridge while cruising rivers, canals, lakes and waterways all the way from the Florida Keys to the Rideau and Trent-Severn canals in Canada, and including sections of the Mississippi River, Ohio River, Cumberland River and Tennessee River and lakes. During land travel, we enjoyed the boat as an RV in campgrounds. Our Adventure Craft travels have lasted anywhere from day trips to 6 weeks per trip.
The Adventure Craft is well equipped as a trailerable boat, with cabin bench seats in the daytime that make two full sized beds for sleeping at night; a galley with sink, refrigerator, microwave and hot water heater; a 20 gallon fresh water tank and pump; a head with toilet, sink and shower; a Honda generator and air conditioning; and a quiet 135 hp Honda 4 stroke outboard (520+ hours) with a 40 gallon gas tank. A trickle charger is built-in to maintain the batteries from external power or the generator. The boat can be piloted from within the cabin in inclement weather, or from the flybridge in good weather. The hull has a 12" draft, making it easy to beach, with a 28" prop draft enabling the boat to run in shallow waters.
The Adventure Craft cabin has six large windows and two smaller windows, and large Plexiglas windows/doors on the bow and stern of the cabin, providing a great view from inside the cabin in all directions. There are screens on the windows and mosquito netting for the doors.
On the boat exterior, there are three storage compartments in the bow and two in the stern. In the interior, there is a storage compartment behind each bench seat and a storage compartment under each bench seat. There is storage under and above the galley sink. This makes a total of 10 storage compartments in the cabin interior.
Our custom trailer was designed and built for long distance trailering.

All seat/bed cushions have been upgraded with a combination foam with 2" of regular foam and a top with 2" of thermal foam (much more comfortable for sleeping than factory foam).

Several swivel hooks were added to hang items.
CUSTOM TRAILER
Completely redesigned and rebuilt in 2012 by adding a third axle (2 new axles), 15" wheels and tires, with brakes on all wheels, and a new surge brake system:
10,500 lb load capacity (factory trailer had a 7,000 lb trailer and boat load capacity) Installed brakes on each wheel
Installed 15" mag wheels and tires Installed front mounted ladder
Installed 10,500 lb hydraulic surge braking system 2015- Installed new set of tires
2017- All new treated wood bunk boards with slicks
This trailer and boat, loaded with fresh water, fuel, clothes, food, etc weighs about 7500 lbs.
NOTES:
The exterior of this boat was detailed this summer so that the exterior fiberglass is in very good condition.
There is some crazing of the plexiglas on the bow and stern of the cabin.
There are some minor dings and scratches in the fiberglass gelcoat on the hull exterior.
There are no tables in this Adventure Craft. We prefer to use lap trays for meals because the tables take up significant storage space.
